Jill Uehara, the founder and owner of Maui Law LLLC, was born and raised in Waiehu on the island of Maui. She is the fourth generation of her family to live on the island, where she attended St. Anthony School. Out of her deep-rooted love and respect for the local culture, Jill works as a Maui attorney and established her law firm in the area to help people in the community she calls home. Jill provides legal counsel and representation to guide her clients through challenging issues that have crucial impacts on their lives. She practices on all the islands in the state.
In her law practice, Jill takes an approach that is client-centered and tailored to the needs of her clients. She starts by carefully listening to each client to make certain she fully understands the details and can empathize with the situation. Then, she applies her extensive legal experience and knowledge to develop a legal strategy to address the client’s needs. Jill's goal is to assist her clients reach a better place so they are able to move forward with their lives.

Before opening her firm, Jill gained extensive legal experience working for law firms and clerking for the Administrative Judge of the Second Circuit of Hawaiʻi. The practice at Maui Law LLLC includes the substantive areas cultivated by Jill’s legal work experience: criminal defense (including DUI), landlord representation, temporary restraining orders, and personal injury.
When she’s not working, Jill enjoys spending time with her dog, Zeeb. Jill loves hiking and camping and traveling the world to fill up her passport. Jill especially likes to visit national parks and baseball stadiums. Jill is an avid fan of the Chicago Cubs, Pittsburgh Penguins, and the University of Hawaiʻi Volleyball teams. As one of six children and a proud auntie, Jill also enjoys spending time with her whole family.
